29RR Indian Army Organised Swarnim vijay Varsh Painting Competition

In conjunction with the nation wide celebration to commemorate 50 years of the stellar victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war which led to creation of Bangladesh, 29 Rashtriya Rifles organised a painting competition for the locals as a forerunner to the reception of the victory flame at Parihaspora.

There was an overwhelming response with around 200 individuals competing in three different age categories .

The event witnessed display of talent in the form of exceptional paintings created by the participants. The felicitation of the winners will be done at Parihaspora on the occasion of reception of the victory flame.
