1937 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 156344 Death toll rises 2111 with nineteen new deaths

Srinagar April 23 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 1937 fresh positive cases of COVID, and nineteen new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 156344.

These cases include 846 from Jammu division and 1091 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports six new deaths, while Jammu division reports thirteen new deaths, taking the death toll to 2111 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 501 cases were reported from Srinagar, 118 from Baramulla,156 from Budgam, 55 from Pulwama, 59 from Kupwara, 75 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 14, Ganderbal 40, Kulgam 61, Shopian 12, Jammu 525, Udhampur 72, Rajouri 45, Doda 13, Kathua 33, Samba 25, Kishtwar 03, Poonch 30 Ramban 22 and Reasi 78.

Moreover, they said, 1019 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 482 from Jammu division and 537 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
