Youth Drowns in Power Canal at Haknar Fraw, Ganderbal; Rescue Operations Underway

Ganderbal, April 4(PTK) A tragic incident occurred in Haknar Fraw, Ganderbal, where a 17-year-old youth drowned in the power canal. Following an emergency call, teams from the Police, SDRF, NDRF, and local volunteers promptly launched a rescue operation to trace the missing individual.

The youth has been identified as Junaid Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Wahid, a resident of Fraw Haknar Gund.

An official confirmed to The Newscast that Police and SDRF teams responded immediately and began search operations, which remain ongoing. Authorities are utilizing all available resources in the effort to retrieve the body.
