Women dies, husband injured in accident in Sumbal

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar,Aug 28 :- A woman died while as her husband got injured on National Highway in Shadipora area of Sumbal hamlet of Bandipora district, resulting in her on the spot death.

An official said that an accident took place at Shadipora near Higher secondary school between the oil tanker bearing registration no. JK02BX/5057and Scooty bearing registration no. JK04D/ 8584

He said in the incident scooty rider namely Syed Mohd Shah son of Syed Hussain Shah resident of Dab Ganderbal critically injured, who has been shifted to CHC Wakura for further treatment

He added that his wife namely Gowhara wife of Syed Mohd Shah resident of Dab Ganderbal died on spot and her body has been shifted to CHC Sumbal for further medical formalities. Sumbal Police on spot for further investigation.

He said that driver has been arrested and case has been registered besides that further investigation has been taken up.
