Weatherman predicts 2-day wet spell from Feb 19

Srinagar February, 18 (PTK) The weatherman on Saturday predicted another two-day wet spell in the Valley Kashmir from February 19.

An official of the MeT said that the weather would remain mainly dry tomorrow while there is a possibility of light rain and snow at isolated higher reaches of Kashmir on February 19.

With the possibility of light rains, snow at isolated higher reaches of Kashmir, the weather would remain generally cloudy, he said, adding that on February 20th, there is a possibility of light rain in plains and light to moderate rain and snow in middle and higher reaches during 20th late afternoon to early morning of February 21st.

He further informed that from February 21-24th, the weather would remain occasionally cloudy with mainly dry weather.

The Meteorological department has also advised people to stay alert and away from avalanche prone areas. (PTK)
