“Voter ID more powerful than IED,” says PM after casting the vote

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after casting his vote in Ahmadabad, addresses Ahmadabad peoples and said, While terrorists try to prove their strength by using IEDs, democracies show their strength by the Voter IDs. This shows the true strength of the masses. He also appeals to all young, first-time voters to come out and cast their vote. He said, “You are India’s future and the world is watching”.

The third phase of the Lok Sabha election of 2019 is being held today. Polling will be held in 115 constituencies across 15 states and Union Territories. Nearly 18.5 crore voters across 15 states and Union Territories (Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Tripura and Union Territories Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu) will decide who will represent them in the parliament for the next five years. The voting time for Phase 3 elections is from 7 am to 6 pm.
