Unidentified militant killed in ongoing Pulwama gunfight

SRINAGAR, (PTK): An unidentified militant was been killed so far in an ongoing gunbattle between militants and security forces in Pinglish village of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to reports reaching PTK, one unidentified militants has been killed while it’s believed that one-two are still present in the area.

Government forces had jointly launched a search operation in the area after getting specific inputs about presence of some militants.

The encounter started after government forces came near to a suspected spot where from hiding militants fired upon them triggering an encounter.

The operation in the area is on as forces believe that few more militants are hiding. (PTK)
