SRINAGAR, (PTK): Hurriyat  leader Umar Adil Dar resign from Tehreek-e-Hurriyat JK.

I would like to notify you that iam resigning from the basic membership of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat JK, effective from 16-07-2019;

Thank you very much for the opportunity you have given me inorder to serve to best of my ability both party intrests as well as on resistance front.I have genially enjoyed my time with full of conviction with the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in and out of the jail and i believe the experience which i have got as an political activist has taught me much about the people and the way forward as far as the current grave political scenario is concern.

It is with reluctance but my consciousness forced me to submit this letter. Although my time with (TeH) has been, on the whole, personally productive, for quite a while now I have become less and less satisfied the way party functioning for quite some time. The direction of the Party, the group in which I work sincerely since almost a decade, and the new STATUS QUO kind of policy adaptation and the methods of accomplishing the target missions(RSD) which is Noble and sacred to Kashmiris have made it increasingly difficult to feel I’m contributing enough. Iam literally feeling suffocated with this painful STATUS QUO? which is taking heavy toll on humanity in every aspect and serving nothing other than miseries.

You won’t always be able to salvage a relationship with the organisation. This usually happens when leadership know you’re unhappy but do nothing to improve conditions and take comprehensive political initiatives in the interest of oppressed kashmiris.

My Sole aim is to serve my nation and iam going to explore the best possible platform from where i would fulfill my duties towards my oppressed and bruised kashmiris come what may.
