Umar, Abid declared as President and Vice President of Municipal Council

Authorities on Saturday declared the result of recently held Muncipal election in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district in which Congress party’s Umar Kakroo has been declared as President of municipal Council Baramulla.
The election for President and vice President was held today in which total number of 21 votes were casted, among Congress topped with 11 votes Bharatiya Janata Party begged 8.
With this win Congress party’s Umar Kakroo will be the President of Muncipal Council Baramulla, while Abid Salaam has been declared as Vice President.
Pertinently earlier recently held Muncipal election, Congress won 10 seats, BJP won 6 and 3 seats won by Independent candidates later one among joined Congress Party.
