Two terrorists killed in Kulgam encounter, Search underway

KULGAM : Two unidentified terrorists were killed in an overnight encounter at Redwani Payeen area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district

Officials told news agency Press Trust of Kashmir, that Bodies of 02 terrorists killed in the anti-terrorist operation recovered so far. Identity & affiliation being ascertained in Redwani Payeen area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district

Sources told that a Joint team of Army , CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police laid a cordon and search operation in Redwani village of Kulgam after having credible inputs about the presence of some terrorists in the area.

As the joint team approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon forces triggering off an encounter.

Meanwhile, operation is in progress and roads leading to the encounter site has been sealed off by the security forces and Search operation in going on
