Two militants associates arrested in Awantipora

Pulwama Nov, 21 (PTK) Awantipora police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two militants in Tral and Pampore area of Pulwama district.

An official said that awantipora Police arrested two militant associates of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad from Tral and Pampore area who are involved in providing shelter, support, logistics as well as in transporting of arms/ ammunition of the militants in Pampore & Tral area and passing sensitive information to the militants of proscribed outfit JeM.

He identified the arrested associates as Bilal Ahmad Chopan resident of Wagad Tral and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh resident of Chatlam Pampore.

He further added that Incriminating material has been recovered from both the arrested persons.

Moreover ase F.I.R number 96/2020 and 90/2020 stands registered against the said arrested persons in Police Station Tral and Police Station Pampore respectively under relevant sections of the law, he added.(PTK)
