Two local militants killed in Tral gunfight

Slain affiliated with AGUH, LeT were involved in killing of sarpanch in Khonmoh:- IGP.

Press Trust of Kashmir |  Srinagar:- Two militants were been killed in an encounter between the government forces and militants in Arigam village of Tral area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said on Wednesday.

Kashmir Zone police while quoting Inspector General of Police said that a militant of Ansar Gazwat ul Hind Safat Manzoor sofi@Muavia and a militant of LeT Umer Teli @Talha were killed in Tral encounter.

“Both shifting to Tral, both were involved in several militancy related incidents including the killing of Sarpanch Sameer Ahmad from Khonmoh.”They said.

“AGuH militant Safat Muzzaffar Sofi @ Muavia and LeT’s militant Umer Teli @ Talha killed in #Tral. Before shifting to Tral area both were involved in several #terror crimes in #Srinagar city including recent killing of Sarpanch (Sameer Ahmad) in Khanmoh Srinagar: IGP Kashmir.” Kashmir Police zone tweeted.:-PTK.
