Two Labourers Killed, Others Injured in Dastardly Attack in Ganderbal: CM Omar Abdullah Condemns

Srinagar, Oct 20: Two non-local labourers were killed, and two others were injured in a terrorist attack in the Gagangir area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
The victims were working on a crucial infrastructure project in the region when they were targeted. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed his grief over the incident, stating, “Very sad news of a dastardly & cowardly attack on non-local labourers at Gagangir in the Sonamarg region. These people were working on a key infrastructure project in the area. 2 have been killed & 2-3 more have been injured in this militant attack.”
He condemned the attack, calling it an assault on innocent, unarmed civilians, and extended his condolences to the bereaved families. The injured are receiving medical care as security forces intensify operations in the area to locate the attackers.
