Two Cops Found Dead With Bullet Injuries In J&K’s Udhampur

Udhampur December 08 (PTK)Police personnel were found dead with bullet injuries in Udhampur district, Jammu and Kashmir, early on Sunday,  The incident occurred around 6:30 am near the Kali Mata temple in the Rehambal area, where their bullet-riddled bodies were discovered inside a police van.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may be a case of fratricide followed by suicide. An AK-47 rifle is believed to have been used. Senior police officers have reached the scene, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.

The bodies have been transported to the district hospital for postmortem examinations. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses:- (PTK)
