Twin brothers developed Automatic Sanitation Device in  Kokernag Anantnag

Sriagar, Apr 26 (PTK): Duo brothers Refaz Ahmad wani and Ishfaq Ahmad Wani hailing from Wangaam Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district developed Automatic Sanitation device as Innovators.

During this pandemic situation of Covid-19 which the whole world is facing we twin brothers have developed an essential product which can help to contain the virus to some extent that is “Automatic Sanitation Device” which will release the sanitiser without touching it but just by placing hand near it.

They said we have developed it with the household wastes like bottles cardboard pipes etc. We also used an Arduino, Servo Motor, Pump Motor which are available in our newly setup company *Wani Robotics Research Innovations* Pvt Ltd. It runs on a battery whose voltage can be varied according to our convenience and we programmed it a little bit according to our requirements.

It can also be developed without Arduino but the materials required for that device were not available due to Lockdown. It is a simple and easy to install and use device which can be used in Hospitals, Schools, Roads, Homes, Shops etc.

The workable prototype which we have has been developed at the cost of Rs 1300 but we performed three experiments on it and came to a conclusion that it cost can be reduced to Rs 500 if we get the all the required items for this. Its capacity can also be varied from 50 mL to 50 Litre depending on where we are installing it.

It is bought at once devices which means one needs to buy it only once.

Both brothers have been enlisted for national as well as State level research innovation. (PTK)
