Tragic Incident Policeman’s Life Lost in Scooty-Truck Collision

Srinagar:A tragic accident on 90 Feet Road in Srinagar early Thursday morning claimed the life of a policeman.

Reports indicate that the collision occurred when a scooty (JK16B 7611) collided head-on with an oncoming truck. The scooty rider sustained fatal injuries and was immediately rushed to SKIMS Soura, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Repora Lar, Ganderbal. Bhat served as a Selection Grade Constable with the J&K Police and was posted at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Srinagar. He was on his way to DPL Srinagar on his scooty when the accident occurred.

The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
