Tragic Bus Accident in Reasi: Militant Attack Claims 10 Lives

Reasi, June 9 : A passenger bus traveling from Shiv Khori to Katra was attacked by militants, leading to a devastating accident. As per SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma, reported to news agency Press Trust of Kashmir that initial investigations indicate the militants fired upon the bus, causing the driver to lose control and the vehicle to plunge into a gorge.
The accident resulted in significant casualties, with 33 passengers sustaining injuries. The rescue operation, conducted swiftly by local authorities, has now been completed. However, the identities of the passengers have yet to be confirmed, though it is known that they are not locals.
Following the incident, the area surrounding the Shiv Khori shrine has been secured, and area domination measures have been implemented to ensure safety.
DC Reasi confirmed the grave news that 10 individuals lost their lives in the attack and subsequent accident. The local administration is working tirelessly to provide aid to the injured and to identify the deceased.
