Tourist flow doesn’t mean normalcy, situation grim in J&K:- Farooq Abdullah

Have never seen Pandits pelting stones, no need to use force on them

Press Trust of kashmir | Srinagar :National Conference Patron and President of five party alliance Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that tourism is not reflection of normalcy rather situation is grim in J&K

Eeryday policeman or any civilian is being killed which reflects situation is not good in J&K and tourism flow doesn’t mean normalcy.

Kashmiri Pandits were asking for security to safer places and in response they got tear shells as we have never seen Pandits pelting stones on them.

We have met LG Sinha to raise issue of law and order problem in J&K and we will support you in all these things to keep the peace and atmosphere here,” he added.

The heavy flow of tourists never indicates the normalcy in Kashmir valley, if the situation is norman why civil killings is being done every day.

Farooq Abdullah urges for unity of Kashmiris and said that people have to unite for a cause.

He said Kashmiri Pandits can never resort to violence as they are on peaceful protest to press their demands..
