Three Notorious drug peddler arrested, contraband and cash recovered. Shopian Police

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 13:-Continuing war against abuse of drug peddling, Police Party of PS shopian recovered*170 grams of Heroine* like substance along with ₹ 3lakh and 40 thousand cash from the possession of three bike bound persons namely
1.Amir Mehmood Malik S/o Mehmood Malik R/o Chak Chotipora
2.Amir Manzoor Khoker S/o Manzoor Ahmed Khoker R/o Tuli Hallan Nagbal Shopian
3.Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat S/o Gulam Nabi Bhat R/o Tantrypora Kulgam

who were coming towards Shopian on black colour Pulsar bike bearing registration No. JK 22C 2993 and were apprehended during surprise check point laid on Shopian Zawoora road. FIR NO. 184 /2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Shopian and all the three accused have been arrested . The recovered drugs were sealed and seized as per the provisions of NDPS act in presence of executive magistrate on spot. Further investigation is going on ascertain the forward and backward linkages and more recoveries and arrests are expected.

Shopian police appeals the general public to come forward and share the information regarding the menace of drug abuse in order to eradicate this social evil from society
