Teenager Killed in Ganderbal Road Accident

Ganderbal: Tragedy struck in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday afternoon as an 18-year-old boy lost his life in a fatal road accident at Kurhama bypass.

Huzaif Shafi, the son of Mohammad Shafi Ganie and a resident of Kurhama Ganderbal, was fatally struck by a speeding sumo vehicle at Kurhama. Despite immediate efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at District Hospital Ganderbal, as confirmed by hospital authorities.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, with the police taking cognisance of the matter. The community mourns the untimely loss of a young life and hopes for swift justice in the investigation process.
