Student electrocuted to death at GDC Bijbehara

Srinagar March, 23 (PTK) A student of GDC Bijbehara died due to electrocution while playing cricket in his college on Thursday afternoon.

An official said that a Umer Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Dargund Sirigufwara, who was a student of the second year at Degree college Bijbehara was electrocuted while playing a cricket match in his own college.

He came in touch with a live wire when he went to collect the ball while fielding and fell unconscious, he said

He added that he was rushed to the near by hospital however, he succumbed on way to hospital as doctors declared him brought dead at hospital. (PTK)
