SSM college demolition:- Management appeals govt not to demolish college

The management of the SSM college on Tuesday alleged that SSM college is being demolished on behest of some political pressure.

Dilafroze Qazi, chairperson SSM college alleged that demolition drive was carried out on the behest of Imran Raza Ansari. She said all is being done on the orders of Ansari.

She said that officials from the administration didn’t show the demolition order if it has been issued from the top.

Why structures were raised to ground without showing any official order to us,” she questioned and sought intervention of LG government and District Development Commissioner Baramulla, she said.

We were not served any notice and why only college is being targeted why not then the whole area who are also living on same land, she said.

Officials maintain that drive is being conducted on directions of top officials.(PTK).
