Srinagar Witness 60% Covid Cases Daily, people should adhere Covid Guidelines Strictly to bay 3rd Wave : DC Srinagar 

Srinagar, 06 Nov (PTK): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Muhammad Aijaz Asad on Saturday visits several markets to inspect the implementation of Covid-19 guidelines and said that Srinagar district witnessing 60 percent covid cases daily, the lone reason that kept 3 wave at bay is because of the people following the precautions strictly.

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK), While talking to reporters DC Srinagar Aijaz underlining the importance of adhering to the COVID-19 SOPs, urged people to ensure that the guidelines issued by the administration in view of daily spike in COVID-19 cases in Srinagar must be followed strictly.

He adds that the people should adhere Covid-19 guidelines properly, if not then Srinagar could become the reason for possibly third Covid wave in Jammu & Kashmir.

Meanwhile, DC Srinagar also visited several markets to inspect the implementation of Covid related SOPs and said there is need to strictly follow Covid SOPs, guidelines and precautions and to co-operate with district administration so that the Covid-19 infection rate may be significantly reduced.
