Shah Fayaz President JKECC and Chairman JKTA presides over a grand review meeting at Banquet Hall Srinagar. 

Srinagar, Aug 10(PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) in association with the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) today convened a grand and comprehensive review meeting , under the dynamic chairmanship of Jenab Shah Fayaz Sahib, the esteemed and visionary leader at Banquet Hall Srinagar.

 

The meeting witnessed a resounding participation of all executive body members of both JKECC and JKTA, District Presidents from various educational and departmental cadres, and a large number of senior and grassroots members from across the districts. The atmosphere during the meeting remained that of deep engagement, mutual respect, and collective resolve towards the shared mission that both organizations have championed over the decades.

 

The proceedings began with a detailed presentation on the historic role and legacy of JKECC and JKTA in shaping not only employee welfare policies but also in contributing meaningfully to the social fabric of Jammu & Kashmir. Members fondly recalled the principled struggles, tireless campaigns, and selfless sacrifices made by predecessors to uphold justice, dignity, and ethical standards in public service.

 

 

The participants unanimously recognized the grave challenges posed by rising social evils in contemporary society, including drug abuse, moral degradation, other social evils. It was resolved that, in keeping with the moral and reformist legacy of JKECC, the twin organizations will launch intensified awareness drives, organize seminars in educational institutions, and actively engage community leaders, religious scholars, and civil society activists to curb these menaces. Special emphasis was laid on mobilizing the youth through positive engagement, value-based education, and community service initiatives.

 

 

Detailed discussions were held on the pressing service matters faced by employees across sectors—ranging from regularization, timely promotions, and financial upgradation to improvement of working conditions in remote and far-flung areas. The leadership assured that all genuine grievances will be pursued at the highest levels through structured representation, sustained follow-up, and constructive dialogue with concerned authorities. The meeting also highlighted the need to preserve the dignity of the teaching community and other government functionaries as pillars of societal development.

 

Shah Fayaz President JKECC and Chairman JKTA while addressing the gathering emphasized the importance of organizational discipline, unity of purpose, and grassroots connectivity. It was agreed that both JKECC and JKTA will strengthen their district, zonal, and block-level units to ensure effective communication, better grievance redressal, and stronger mobilization of collective efforts.

 

In his keynote address, Shah Fayaz Sahib commended the steadfastness, sincerity, and selfless service of all members, both past and present. He urged them to carry forward the moral and social reformist traditions of the organizations with renewed vigor, stressing that the true strength of JKECC and JKTA lies not only in defending employee rights but also in being an active moral force in society. He appealed to all members to be torchbearers of ethical conduct, unity, and service to humanity.

 

The meeting concluded with a unanimous pledge to:

 

a) Remain vigilant against the spread of social evils and proactively work towards their eradication.

 

b)Stand united in safeguarding the rights, dignity, and welfare of employees across all sectors.

 

c) Uphold the historic legacy of the organizations through principled action, transparency, and community engagement.
