Seven shops sealed in Bandipora for violating lockdown orders

Bandipora, May 03:(PTK)Authorities on Sunday sealed Seven shops in north kashmir’s Bandipora district during action against people for violating lockdown orders.

An official said, that Tehsildar Bandipora Rouf Iqbal directed to seal the shops during his visit to Kanan and Watapora localities of the district to inspect the imposition of restriction orders amid lockdown.

He said that these shops were sealed after they were found open and violating the government  orders. “Strict action was also taken against private vehicles found moving around without permission” he said.

Meanwhile, the administration has been constantly making announcements, appealing people not to come out of their homes unnecessarily and adhere to the health guidelines-

Pertinently Bandipora district is the only district in Jammu and Kashmir where highest Covid-19 patients have been found so far(PTK)
