Security Forces Uncover Cache of IEDs and Arms in Reasi Forest

REASI : A significant recovery was made by security forces on Sunday as they unearthed a cache of explosive devices, arms, and ammunition in the forest area of Reasi district, officials reported.
According to official sources, the Army’s 58 RR unit discovered sensitive explosive devices along with a stockpile of arms and ammunition in the Gen. Kot Budhan forest area of Reasi district.
Providing details of the recovered items, officials listed the haul as including:
– 9 IEDs with electric detonators
– 3 Pistols
– 3 Magazines
– 20 Pistol Rounds
– Approximately 1 kg of Explosives (Powder Type)
– 15 AK-47 Rounds
– 6 AK-47 Fired Casings
– 8 9 Volt DC Batteries
– 3 Lithium-Ion 12 Volt Batteries
– Approximately 50 meters of Electric Wire (in 3 bundles)
– 10 AA Batteries (1.2 V)
– 6 Large Magnets
– 7 Explosive Safety Fuses
– 1 Blanket
– 3 Dressing Bandages
– 2 Syringes with Needles
– 1 Rope (8 meters)
– 2 Packets of Cigarettes
Officials emphasized that this successful operation underscores the vigilance and dedication of the security forces in safeguarding the nation against potential threats.
