Security Forces Recover Arms and Ammunition in Joint Operation in Bandipora

 

The Indian Army, J&K Police, and CRPF, a targeted search operation was launched in Ayatmul, Bandipora, based on precise intelligence inputs. The operation, focused on countering insurgency and bolstering security in the region, yielded significant outcomes.

 

Officials from the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army told Press Trust of Kashmir, speaking to Press Trust of Kashmir, disclosed that the joint operation resulted in the discovery of a substantial cache of weaponry concealed in a hideout.

 

In a synchronized effort involving District Police, Bandipora, 14RR (Indian Army), and 3rd Bn CRPF, acting on specific intelligence, a terrorist hideout was dismantled in the orchards of Ayathmullah Bandipora. The recovered items included an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), 7 UBGL grenades, 95 rounds of ammunition, and one bag, some of which showed signs of aging and rust.
