SDPO Gool conducts market checking of Gool market. Challans people found wandering without masks

Srinagar, (PTK): Today on 27-07-2020 SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar JKPS alongwith SHO Gool Insptr Naeem Ul Haq visited the Gool market and conducted market checking in view of the upcoming Eid ul Azha festival.

A number of vehicles which were parked haphazardly and hindering smooth flow of traffic in the main market were got removed.

The shopkeepers were directed to ensure Social distancing in their shops and not sell anything to those without masks.

They were further directed to not indulge in overpricing and selling of expired products, failing which action under law shall be taken against violators.

A number of persons who were thronging market without masks were challaned on spot and revenue of Rs 1000 was realised.

This people friendly step of Police was appreciated by the general public of the Gool.

Gool Police appeals public to stay at home and not to venture out unnecessarily in view of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Even if there is extreme emergency all precautions like use of masks and social distancing should be ensured.
