Scuffle over land dispute in Poonch, 7 persons injured

Press Trust of Kashmir | Poonch: At least seven persons were injured in a scuffle between two families over a land dispute in Mendhar area of Poonch on Friday.

Sources said that clashes erupted between families of Mohammad Shafi and Shah Mohammad near Ziarat Chota Badshah over a land dispute.

He said in the incident seven persons identified was Shah Mohammad (70) Bago Begum (65), Hakim Din (65), Ghulam Nabi (60), Abdul Hamid (35), Shaheena Akhter (32) and Salma Kounser (24) we’re injured.

Injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment, he said.

He said that all of them are stable and responding well to the treatment.

Official added that case has been registered and investigation taken up.:-PTK.
