S. Manjit Singh led delegation of Apni Party
Jammu, June 03 (PTK): A delegation of Apni Party led by its Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh visited Pakistan shelling hit villages along the border in Pargwal and met a number of people in Gaoun Nai Basti area.
The delegation met the people in Gaoun Nai Basti area of Pargal where the shelling from across the border from Pakistan hit, compelling people to flee to safer locations.
Commanding the Indian Armed Forces for their response with equal force to the enemy provocation, S. Manjit Singh said that the people were timely evacuated to safer locations by the Indian Army that should be lauded and appreciated.
While interacting with the people, he assured that their concerns, and issues of reconstruction, and adequate compensation to the damages, and loss of cattles will be projected before the authorities.
He demanded that the authorities shall accept the demand for adequate compensation to the people affected with the shelling from across the border.
“The compensation that is being offered is minimal and does not meet the demands and damages suffered by the people,” he said, while pointing towards the partially damaged structures.
Meanwhile, the locals also raised the issues of underdevelopment, and other related issues.
The Party has expressed solidarity with the people, and supported their demand.
