Reports fake, No temple torched in Srinagar: Police
FIR registered and legal action against those spreading fake news
Press trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: police Thursday clarified that no temple has been torched in any part of the city and that reports of torching the temple are fake and false.
In a tweet, Srinagar police stated that no such incident is reported to have taken place. “FIR has been registered and legal action imitated against those spreading the fake news,” the tweet read.
Earlier, reports that a temple was set on fire at Soura area of Srinagar had gone viral on social media sites
8 violators were booked by Sopore police.
Police station Sopore in its endeavor to brake the chain of transmission of corona virus in the J/D of police station sopore has booked 8 violators in case FIR No. 128 U/S 188,269 IPC for violating’s SOP of covid-19. All of them were shopkeepers who had opened their shops and were violating the protocol of covid-19.
Sopore police has once again warn the general public not to violate the SOP of covid-19 and don’t venture out until and unless it is medical emergency. Once again we humbly request you to cooperate with us (police) while imposing the restrictions to contain restraint the further spread of deadly corona virus and their will be very very strict corona curfew tomorrow in Police District Sopore.
