Reasi Gunfight Update: One Militant Eliminated, Policeman Injured, Operation Persists

JAMMU (PTK) – In a significant development, police reported on Monday that an unidentified militant has been neutralized, and a police officer sustained a gunshot wound during the ongoing encounter in the Reasi area of the Jammu division.

Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu, Mukesh Kumar, provided an update, confirming the death of one militant and the injury of a police officer in the ongoing operation.

Previously, ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh had announced the initiation of the encounter based on credible police information regarding the presence of two militants.

The intense exchange of fire continues in the Gali Sohab area within the Tuli region of Chassana, with both the police and the Army actively involved in the operation.
