Railway cop dead, another injured in Pulwama attack

Pulwama April 18 (PTK) Militants on Monday afternoon attacked railway police at Railway station Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district

A police official said that the militants fired upon two railway police officials who were at a tea stall outside railway station resulting in critical injuries to both personnels.

He said injured personnel were shifted to hospital for treatment where one succumbed and another has been shifted to Srinagar in critical condition.

He identified deceased as HC Surinder Singh while as injured has been identified as SI Dev Raj.

Soon after the attack the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, he said. (PTK)
