Pulwama gunfight ends with killing of two JeM militants

Srinagar May 30 (PTK) Two militants affiliated with JeM were killed in a gunfight that broke out between militants and security forces in Gundipora area of Pulwama district on Monday.

An official said that two militants have been killed and search operation is going on.

An official said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, militants fired upon them which retaliated triggering an encounter.

In exchange of fire two militants including Abid shah involved in killing of policeman Reyaz Shah has been killed, he said. (PTK)
