SRINAGAR: In a swift response to the recent blast in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, authorities have detained two individuals for questioning, as reported by officials on Wednesday.

 

The explosion, believed to have been triggered by a handmade crude substance, rattled the vicinity of the district hospital in Poonch town late Tuesday night, sparking fear and concern among local residents.

 

A police spokesperson revealed that they received reports of a suspected small intensity explosion-like sound emanating from an area near Poonch Hospital. “Necessary investigations are underway to determine the precise nature of the material, which initially appears to be a handmade crude substance,” the spokesperson stated.
