Police seizes huge quantity of illicit timber in Budgam, accused arrested

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar September 09: Police in Budgam seized huge quantity of illicit timber and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.

Police Station Khag received an information that one person Abdul Hamid Shera son of Mohammad Hussain Shera resident of Gujarpathri Drang has kept huge quantity of illicit timber in an orchard on Drung Gujarpathri road. Accordingly, a police party of Police Station Khag raided the specific spot and seized huge quantity of illicit timber and arrested the accused person involved in the commission of crime.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 50/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khag and investigation has been initiated. More arrests and recoveries are expected.
