Police fire tear gas shelling at protestors in Budgam

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :  Police on Friday fired tear gas shells towards protestors in Budgam district.

Official sources said that Kashmir police used a few tear-gas shells and mild lathi-charge to foil the protest of Kashmiri Pandits at Sheikhpora, Budgam, who were marching towards Srinagar International Airport.

They tried to march towards Airport to register their protest, however, police foiled the protest.

Rahul Bhat was killed by militants inside Tehsil office Chadoora, Budgam on Thursday. The killing evoked widespread condemnation.

Protests have erupted in Kashmir at several spots soon after his killing.:-PTK.
