Police facilitates police-public interaction meeting in Budgam

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BUDGAM July 22: As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Budgam facilitated a Police-public interaction meeting at Police Post Narbal.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Magam Shri Mohammad Saleem-JKPS along with SHO Magam and IC PP Narbal. The meeting was attended by prominent respectables of Shia community, respectable citizens of Narbal & its adjacent areas.

During the meeting, the participants raised various issues of Public importance. The chairing officer redressed some of the issues pertaining to the police on spot and assured them that the grievances pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned authorities for early redressal. Besides, various public issues regarding Muharram arrangements and discussions were also held regarding upcoming Muharram including proper traffic management and other issues. The chairing officer assured full cooperation from Police during the Muharram days.

Participants were advised to maintain communal harmony among the society, participants assured of keeping peace and harmony in the area.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
