Police arrests pickpocket in Sopore; Stolen cash swiftly recovered

Srinagar, September 21(PTK): Police in Sopore have arrested a pickpocket and recovered stolen cash within hours of the incident.

Police Post Bus Stand Sopore received a written complaint stating that ₹5,000 had been stolen from the complainant’s pocket in the Main Market Sopore.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 193/2025 under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation was taken up. Acting promptly, police identified and apprehended the accused, Imran Ahmad Teeli, resident of Baramulla. The stolen cash of ₹5,000 was recovered from his possession.
