PM Narendra Modi misguiding people on Kashmir, says Sharad Pawar

SRINAGAR, (PTK): NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi misguiding the people and spreading false information on national issues.

“The demand was made by Mehbooba Mufti of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), with whom the BJP had shared power in J&K. He knows better about the demand for two PMs. We have never supported such a demand. But it is his style to divert people’s attention from real issues.

He does not dare to speak on issues related to development as he has failed to deliver on them,” Pawar said at a press conference here. “Modi has realised he cannot influence people over the issue of ‘Vikas’ the way he did during the last elections and is trying to divert people’s attention by using issues like the Pulwama attack and the sacrifice of soldiers for the nation,” Pawar alleged.

Pawar said he had been touring in Maharashtra and organising rallies. “The response is tremendous, and from the feedback I have received so far, I can say the people have realised that Modi and Shah are calamities and that it is their responsibility to vote them out of power. They have made up their minds; they want change as the BJP-led government has cheated them with false promises of development,” he said.
