PDP Worker shot at in Kulgam village

Srinagar, May 19 (PTK): A former Panch of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker was on Sunday evening shot at by the unidentified gunmen in Zungalpora area of Devsar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Sources identified the Panch as Mohammad Jamaal of Zungalpora village of Kulgam district, saying that he was shifted to nearby hospital from where he has been referred to SMSH for specialized treatment.

An official while confirming that a civilian has been shot in Zungalpora area said that the area has been cordoned off and search operation has been launched to nab the attackers. (PTK)
