PDP responsible for strengthening BJP, RSS in J&K: Tanveer

SRINAGAR, JUL 16 (PTK): Taking dig at Peoples Democractic Party Spokesperson Firdous Ahmed Tak’s rant on the reported government plan to strengthen RSS cadre in District Kishtwar under the garb of VDCs, Senior National Conference leader and party District President Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo said on Tuesday that PDP has all along played key role in strengthening the communal forces in Jammu and Kashmir .

He said after facing rout in Parliamentary elections, the PDP is now trying to exploit public sentiments for petty political gains. He said the people are sagacious enough to read between the lines.. He said that PDP has no moral right to speak on the issues as they have all along played second fiddle to the BJP.

Tanveer said that NC leadership has expressed conveyed its apprehensions over creation of new VDCs to the District Administration and other government functionaries. He said that BJP like PDP has always tried to play politics of hate and divide adding that instead of creating new VDCs, the government must create a special battalion for Kishtwar District for strengthening the security in the District in which youth, irrespective of religious affiliation could be absorbed.

He said that thousands of unemployed youths appeared for SPO recruitment in Kishtwar Chowghan ground for 100 posts which suggested that youths of Kishtwar District irrespective of religious affiliation want to serve the state

Tanveer Kichloo called upon Governor’s Administration as well as DGP J&K to increase the posts of SPOs for the district from 100 to 500 with immediate effect.

He said that NC carder laid down their lives during last 30 years in the state for upholding democracy, adding that PDP on the contrary, for the lust of power, has bartered the legitimate aspirations of the people. (PTK)
