Panic in Kangan area after spotting wild bears in area

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: Panic gripped Panzin area of Kangan in Ganderbal District after two wild black bears was spotted in the area by locals
Locals from the area said some people spotted a black bear in the area on late Saturday evening.
They said that presence of bear has created fear among local residents and they requested wildlife authorities to capture the animal at an earliest for the safety of people along with their livestock.
They said that they are unable to move outside their residences due to the fear of the bear and requested the department to catch the animal as soon as possible.
Police patrolling has been increased in the area after they received information about the presence of wild bears in the area.
Police requested to public not to venture out of their residences unless it is necessary and take all precautions till the beast will be captured.:-PTK.
