Pakistani Woman Married to Kashmiri Man Wishes to Meet PM Modi
Srinagar, May 29 : Batool Aijaz, originally from Karachi, Pakistan, and now settled in Kashmir, has expressed a strong desire to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Batool, married to a Kashmiri man, has praised PM Modi for his youth-oriented initiatives and efforts to boost employment in Jammu and Kashmir.
In an exclusive interview with the News Agency KNS, Batool, who co-runs a venture named “Jazzbaa – Foods and Spices” with her husband, shared her journey. Despite holding a Master’s degree, Batool initially stayed away from the business. “After ten years of marriage, I started to contribute actively to our venture,” she said.
Batool’s role in the business includes cooking and promoting various food items, aiming to expand their market presence. She participates in exhibitions and sets up stalls to showcase their products, which have been well-received.
Expressing her satisfaction with the support from the J&K government, Batool encouraged the youth to channel their energy positively and take advantage of the numerous schemes introduced by the Government of India. “Our venture is thriving, and I am immensely grateful to Prime Minister Modi for his interest in rolling out youth-oriented schemes in J&K,” she noted.
While expressing her eagerness to meet PM Modi, Batool acknowledged the challenges involved, including the Prime Minister’s busy schedule and security protocols. Nevertheless, she remains hopeful.
Batool also highlighted the warm reception she has received from the people of Kashmir, stating, “Everywhere I go with my business, I receive a heartwarming response from the Kashmiri people.”
