One Militant Killed in Bandipora Encounter

Srinagar, November: A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Ketsun area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, sources confirmed on Tuesday.

The operation began after police and army personnel launched a cordon-and-search mission following specific intelligence about militant presence in the region. During the initial exchange of fire, one militant was neutralized. However, his identity is yet to be confirmed and will be ascertained once the operation concludes.

Security forces remain on high alert as the search continues. Further details are awaited.
