Nuzhat Ishfaq took on spot appraisal of functioning of DH Ganderbal 

GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 24: District Development Council Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat
Ishfaq today took detailed inspection of District Hospital (DH) here at Ganderbal.
During the Visit, DDC Chairperson was accompanied by Additional District Development
Commissioner, Pir Muzafar, CMO, MS DH and other concerned authorities.

Nuzhat Ishfaq took detailed on spot appraisal of functioning of various sections of District
Hospital. She inspected emergency, IPD and OPD wards, Laboratory section, X-ray and USG
unit, blood bank and dialysis center and also reviewed the other facilities provided to the patients
including heating system besides various under construction facilities in the hospital.
The DDC Chairperson took stock of health care facilities being provided by the hospital
administration to patients. She interacted with the patients admitted in different wards besides
enquiring about health care facilities and availability of medical staff there. She directed the MS
to ensure hassle free treatment and medical care of the patients.

She also called for proper cleanliness and sanitation, disposal of biomedical waste besides proper
heating arrangements so that Patients may not suffer during harsh winter.
On the occasion the ADDC remarked that district administration is taking all steps for
augmenting and readying the necessary infrastructure so that better health care facilities are
provided to the people within the district.

Nuzhat Ishfaq directed the hospital administration to display the Duty roster of doctors and other
paramedical staff at prominent places to keep check on their attendance and punctuality for the
convenience of the public. She further stressed on implementation of Covid SoPs and promotion
of covid appropriate behavior among patients and attendants. :-PTK.
