Now FAA selected aspirants protest in Jammu, demand selection list

Srinagar july 15 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR:- A day after protesting in Srinagar, financial accounts assistant aspirants have now staged protest in Jammu and demand selection list.

The candidates, while protesting in Jammu’s Press Enclave, said they have come to know from various sources that Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) is cancelling the recruitment of Finance Account Assistants.

After qualifying for the exam, we thought our unemployment woes would end but the delay in the declaration of results by the JKSSB has kept us in the middle of nowhere,” they said.

“Why does it take so long for the government to question the recruitment process? We are not against the probe but that should be time-bound,” one of the protesters said, alleging that the rights of deserved candidates are being trampled in the name of the probe and alleged scams.

They requested higher ups to publish selection list at an earliest so that things can become clear.

It is pertinent to mention that the Board had advertised posts for the Finance Account Assistant (FAA) in December 2020. The exam for the same was held in the month of March 2022.

JKSSB published the merit list on April 22, 2022, while document verification was conducted from May 17 to May 25, 2022.
