Now ex-SHO Nishat suspended, departmental inquiry started@

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :: A day after suspending a Cop and attaching former Station House Officer of Nishat police station, he has been now placed under suspension along with the Head Constable for allegations of bribery against the duo, officials said on Monday.

The police Head Constable had allegedly approached a person and sought money as corruption from him.

An official said that both of them have been placed under suspension and a ralegular departmental inquiry has been started which would make things “crystal clear” and further o course of action would be decided based on its investigation.

He said that people must come forward whenever they find or hear about such things. :-PTK.
