Now after permission from Directorate office, NGO’s can Organize programme in educational institutions

Srinagar Feb 23 (PTK):Government on Tuesday said that non governmental organizations can organize programs in educational institutions only after getting permission from Directorate office.

 

In a circular issued by the Directorate of school education, they said that heads of institutions must follow instructions in letter and spirit.

 

 

Whereas it has been observed that some NGO’s are directly approaching Chief education officers of Kashmir division for the conduct of different activities/ programmes in Educationall lnstitutions without seeking proper permission from this directorate; Whereas, it has also been observed that some HoI’s are directy coondinoting with NGO’s for the conduct of activities /programmes without seeking proper permission under norms,

Wheras, such practices adversely effect the smooth functioning of the institutions resulting of wastage of time only, whereas, some of these NGO”s are operating without required registration and other requisite documents;

Whereas, such practices allow these NGO’s to take advantage of school resoures and property without any benefit to the students, reads the order.

 

 

As such it becomes imperative to keep a proper check on such activities.

Henceforth, Heads of all Educational Institutions are placed under strict Instructions not to allow any organisation to conduct any activity /programme without seeking proper permission from this directorate.
