No stone pelting, shutdowns in Kashmir post abrogation of article 370:- ADGP

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR Srinagar AUG 05:- Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Vijay Kumar, on Friday said that there are no shutdowns and stone pelting in Kashmir post abrogation of article 370 besides that hybrid militants are no longer a challenge.

Scrapping of article 370 has put an end to the frequent strikes, closure of schools and stone pelting incidents at encounter sites besides that there is no glorification of militants which was during funerals.
People especially youth must should understand the motives of Pakistan and help police and administration to ensure peace prevails here, he said, adding that parents must play a role in bringing back misguided youth back and stop others from treading this path.
He added that two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) bike-borne militants carried out attack on non-local labourers in Pulwama and involved militants have been identified and will be eliminated or arrested soon.
